Langham Idol 2009
Friday 3rd July was Idol night at the exclusive Langham Hotel's Waitemata Ballroom as eight very talented singers competed for the title of Langham Idol 2009 and the Langham Idol Trophy.
Well known Auckland actor/personality Geoffrey Dolan was an extremely entertaining MC for the competition, delighting a crowd of about one hundred and fifty guests with his own brand of humour, singing, and smooth running of the competition.
Kevin Tautau's excellent performance of " I'll never fall in love again ", and his passionate rendition of " It's now or never " highly impressed the three judges and earned Kevin the title of Langham Idol 2009. congratulations go to all the contestants on their performances in a very close competition.
Following the final of the competition the guests were invited to enjoy the rest of the evening with Karaoke Hosts Maggie and Derek of Madas Karaoke, and more talented singers sang and danced the night away in a great party mood.
